Biodel Inc. has built its technology around a comprehensive intellectual property strategy which protects systematic proprietary methodologies.  The Company has multiple composition of matter patents pending with 21 patent applications filed in the U.S. and worldwide.  These patents protect the Company’s technology, which is utilized to create the Company’s products.  The Company’s lead product candidate, VIAject™, as well as the Company’s other products are fully protected through Biodel’s comprehensive intellectual property estate.
